Sarah Scrap has some wonderful ideas about how to care for and improve the environment. She is a kind and rather eccentric lady with a great love and knowledge of flowers, plants, trees and the countryside. In this story, Sarah passes her knowledge on to a group of young children who live in a dull and grimy town. Together they turn a piece of wasteland into a playground and beautiful wildlife garden.
