Extensive work has been done throughout Canada in the area of public awareness strategies and initiatives to prevent violence. The Federal/Provincial/Territorial Senior Status of Women Officials Working Group on Violence Against Women has compiled this annotated bibliography of provincial and territorial initiatives that are empowering to women, youth and children. The goal of this resource guide is to help government and community organizations to take action against violence by sharing information from across Canada. Listings are provided by province and territory, and indexes are divided by target group, type of project and title.
