Summary
A series of three films, which describe the Indian experience in the Americas during the past five centuries. Invasion describes the seizure of territory in two continents from the Arctic to the tip of Tierra del Fuego, and attack against Native peoples which continues to this day. Conversion recounts the tragic history of the attenpts to convert Native peoples to Christianity but also shows that Indian spirituality has not been destroyed. Rebellion describes the ongoing war against the Indians. It is estimated that ninety million people died in this slaughter in the first century after Columbus, and the fight for their land, their rights, and their culture continues.
