The Giant Panda is one of the most widely loved creatures in the world. Yet with fewer than 1000 of these beautiful creatures left in the wild, the panda could disappear forever. Veterinarian Sue Manka is a self proclaim "Pandaholic" who plays a very critical role in ensuring the pandas survival. One of the very few westerners invited to go to China to help save the Pandas. Mainka works with local specialists at a conservation centre in Szechwan Province, studying pandas in their wild bamboo-grove habitat and breeding them in captivity in order to boost their dwindling numbers. -- On back of video container.
