Summary
A charismatic fundamentalist leader -- and paramilitary expert -- Josiah Hummock refers to his followers as "God's Little Army" and denies the FBI access to his compound. He finally releases twelve children -- only to slaughter himself and the rest of his followers in a massive explosion. Five years after the surviving children have returned to their homes or sent to adoptive parents, they suddenly disappear. One by one, the law enforcement officers involved in the siege meet particularly grisly deaths. The child psychologist who was responsible for monitoring the children's readjustment teams up with the FBI agent in charge of the siege to find out where the children have gone and to stop their bloody rampage.
