For the past few years, Lance Bradley has led an uneventful and almost pathetic life. That all changes with a visit from the sister of his old friend, Rupert. Rupe has apparently gone missing, along with a large sum of money, and dangerous people are looking for him. As Lance tries to untangle the web of deceit surrounding Rupe's disappearance, his ordinary life gets turned upside down.
