When Chicago attorney Emma Davis arranges a transfer of the assets of a recently deceased multimillionaire to the charitable trust set up in his will, she's accosted by the Mob. Emma then digs into the firm's dealings, following a trail of deception that leads her to the top of the corporate ladder.
