Thirty-six years, almost to the day, after the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry turned back the first German gas attack of World War I, the same regiment, at Kap'yong, stopped the Chinese in their deepest penetration into South Korea - which earned them a U.S. Presidential Unit Citation.
