CELTINA ;

Summary
Still under the influence of the bad spell cast on her by Koad, the mage of the forest, Celtina wanders without landmarks in Gwened, a small town of which she knows nothing. There she meets Verromensis, the druid of her native village. The powerful old man breaks the curse on her and realizes, by probing her mind, that not only are Koad and Arzhal one and the same person, but that Celtina is the Chosen of her people. Reassured, Verromensis charges him with freeing the archdruid Manopos, who has been a prisoner for centuries of Yspaddaden the giant, a monster that the most seasoned warriors and druids have never managed to defeat. Celtina accepts this important and perilous mission, Manopos being the only being with the power to liberate Celtia from the Romans and, by the same token, her only hope of seeing her family again one day. The teenager therefore joins the fortress of the ogre, where Princess Olwen, who takes a liking to her, explains to her that her father will only release Manopos in exchange for the thirteen treasures of Celtie. The latter open, to whoever possesses them in full, the doors of the Islands of the North of the World and allow him to reign as absolute master on the Earth.
