Thirteen-year-old Josiah and his younger cousin, Kelly, are investigating two thieves who have hidden their cache in an abandoned barn. Instead of catching the thieves, the cousins are themselves kidnapped and left in a remote cabin high in the hills. But their troubles are only now beginning. Josiah is learning that he cannot rely solely upon his own capabilities if they are to ever get out of this difficult situation. He must also put his trust in a higher power. As he and Kelly fight to survive in a hostile environment, he finds that his trust in the Lord is put to the test. Up until now, all he was doing was hoping that things would turn out alright. Now he must have faith as well.
