Summary
Marie Antoinette is little more than a child when her mother, Empress Maria Theresa, sends her to marry the Dauphin Louis XVI, to ensure lasting peace between Austria and France. At the beginning, it will not be easy for the princess to settle in the court because of the ceremonial, the insistent chatter of the palace and the relationship with her husband, long not consummated, but thanks to some friends she will find a way to survive and react, giving vent to her creativity with sumptuous parties and pampering yourself with sweets and 'shopping'. With time and a lot of patience she will also be able to find an intimacy with her husband and give him an heir.
