A day in the life of Faustus Bidgood, dreamer, minor functionary in the Newfoundland Department of Education, and, in the words of his perhaps-angel friend, "closet human being." A meek man, he is scorned and ridiculed by his fellow workers. He nurses his rage in silence, turning to fantasies of revenge. A multi-layered film in which both the traditional techniques and plot-lines of film and television are satirized.
