Charles is the owner of a skydiving center. Raph, his best friend, has dreams of becoming an airplane pilot. After several tests, he discovers that he will not be able to realize his dream due to a hearing problem. He begins to be dangerous during parachute jumps, for himself as well as for others. One evening when he jumps with Manu, his ex-girlfriend and current lover of Charles, land near a hydroelectric field, stay there all night and are discovered by Charles in the morning. Raph will be "barred" from all the parachuting centers (that is to say that nobody will accept to let him jump) by Charles, who especially does not want Raph to sully the image of sport with dangerous acts and contrary to sports ethics.
