Eighteen-year-old Holden Harris, constantly bullied at school for his autism, befriends popular cheerleader Laura Reynolds when she discover they share a passion for music. Though they were once childhood friends, they drifted apart when their parents had a falling out. Now, Laura is determined to help Holden through school, even if that means jeopardizing her own social standing as well as her already strained relationship with her mother.
