Conor Broekhart was born to fly. Legend has it that he was born flying, in a hot air balloon at the Paris World Fair. In the 1890's he spends his time studing the science of flight with his tutor and exploring the castle with the daughter of the King, Princess Isabella. He discovers a conspiracy against the King and is thrown in jail, when he tries to intervene. There is only one way to escape and that is to fly -- one day, after drawing flying machines on the prison's walls for years, he must find the courage and test his designs.
