"This book is the product of the collaboration between Life Unlimited for Older Adults and Indian River High School. Twelve stories are presented here. These stories are the recollections of older adults as told to the students. Eight older adults from Springdale and local area were interviewed by fourteen students from Mr. Bowers's grade nine language arts class. Their stories were recorded by the young authors, edited, and prepared for publication. Four other grade 9 students asisted by their teacher, Erin Roberts-Kelly, collected stories compiled by other adults who are significant in those students lives."
