Lou, a girl of twelve, lives with her mother, a slightly hippie writer who has retained her teenage attitudes. Indeed the latter spends her days on video games rather than work on her novel with loud music, loves pizza and is madly in love with Richard, the next door neighbor . Lou must therefore be discipline so that the rent is paid.
