When Annalee Ahlberg, an extreme sleepwalker, goes missing, her children fear the worst. Her older daughter, Lianna, once pulled her back from the ledge of the Gale River bridge. So when police discover a small swatch of fabric ripped and hanging from a tree branch, it seems almost certain that Annalee is dead. But as Detective Rikert continues to stop by the Ahlbergs' Victorian home, Lianna begins to question why he knows so much about her mother.
