Jean Thornton lost her fiance at Pearl Harbor and feels an intense hatred for the Japanese. When her uncle, a U.S. Senator, asks her to spy on a Japanese internment camp in California, she feels it her patriotic duty to help her country in any way she can. As she becomes more involved with the plight of the prisoners, Jean must face her own prejudices and question her Christianity.
