Summary
David Copperfield: Delbert Mann's adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic for television is enacted by much of the royalty of the British 20th Century stage. Framed in the flashbacks of the reflective Copperfield, the film follows the familar picaresque tale of the boy buffeted by fate after being orphaned at a young age.

Oliver Twist: The first film version of the Dickens' 1839 classic. It's 19th century England and an unknown girl tragically dies during childbirth. Her orphaned boy, Oliver, spends his childhood in the workhouse being treated harshly at the hands of the parish authorities. He eventually runs away to London where he meets Fagin, and old criminal who controls a gang of young thieves and introduces Oliver to a life of crime and corruption.
