Summary
Everything is wrong in Daniel's life. He decides to commit suicide. Sixty-year-old Boris returns to Canada for the first time in forty years. He goes to find his friend Dewi, who told him that his daughter Jade has disappeared; she could run away, have an accident, be kidnapped. Boris stops at the side of the road to piss, enters the forest and finds Daniel, who has just cut his veins. Seeing that the boy needs help, Boris begins to show him more effective ways to kill himself, while highlighting their unpleasant aspects and explaining why, for his part, he preferred to live, even if he must live in a world often difficult and horrible. A certain friendship is born between the two characters and Boris asks Daniel to help him find Jade, believing that a teenager could better make him understand what could happen to the girl. When Boris is hit by a malaria crisis, Daniel finds himself alone in charge of the investigation.
