1866 dawns dark and hopeless on the small town of Turtle Springs set in the Flint Hills of Kansas. The War Between the States took most of its men... and never returned them. A group of the town's single and widowed women join wits and decide they'll advertise for husbands. But they won't accept just any riffraff. Them men will need to audition and be interviewed by the women.
