June Figg, the family's matriarch, is looking forward to a quiet retirement if she can get her three adult children to finally move out of the house. Her son Derek finds himself as a single father which means now there's a newborn baby at home as well as Derek's older siblings, who are showing no sign of going anywhere. Then June's husband, Randy, reveals that he has another son, who was given up for adoption. June finds herself thinking about her own adoptive parents and why her children won't leave home.
