Summary
Shipwreck on an island, Oddvar Elkensson circumnavigates the existence of war and the lost service of youth—hailing settlement over the innumerable grains of commonwealth. Recounting his record holding discovery, Oddvar submerses in the sea and its terrible battles that fought to grant land independence in nature. Oddvar delegates supremacy and rule by prohibiting sailors to land, but the labor of settlement is too great. Gino and Lark are accepted as Citizens and prove the sacrifice each has diversified to the sea. Geographic references to the first Atlantic expeditions paint this dimensional picture in history and the uncertainty towards one’s passion and ultimate servitude. Men alone are not enough to populate the island and Heir lands onshore in the beauty of chaos. Oddvar praises her sacrifice that is all but under the great toughs of peril. Tellings of battle, torture, slavery, and redeeming acts of bloodshed leave the man and woman in ruin. To make amends to the Colonial Haven there is climax in their restitution—to return to history and remember the past is of dramatic proportion, and we submerse under that water to breath.
