In Daglicht we see Iris, a young successful lawyer, who struggles to combine her career with the care of her difficult to raise son. And we have Ray, who has been convicted of murdering his neighbor and is serving his sentence in a TBS clinic. He insists that he is innocent. At first glance, Iris and Ray seem to have little in common, but that changes when their paths cross seemingly by chance. Iris is inclined to believe Ray and promises to help him get his case reviewed. However, as Iris investigates, more and more facts come to light that seem to point to Ray as the culprit.
