Summary
:
This Mi'kmaq story tells of Muin and the Seven Bird Hunters. In spring Muin comes out of her den and is pursued by the Seven Bird Hunters through out summer, until three of them kill her in mid autumn. The story reflects the movement of the stars in the night sky through out the year, particularly the Big Dipper around the North Star.
