The marriage of Heleen and Frank has become somewhat jaded. Children never came - although Heleen would have liked to - and Frank is almost always away from home as a tour operator. Unexpectedly, he comes home early one day and surprises her with a romantic trip: a cruise in honor of their anniversary. The journey is great: Heleen feels the love between her and Frank blossoming again. After a few days on board, she wakes up to find the spot in bed next to her empty.
