Julie's life changes the day she learns that her friend and secret lover, Dominic Laporte, died while playing cowboy and accidentally hanging himself in front of her younger brother. From then on, she becomes aware of the reality of death and she leaves childhood definitively in order to enter the world of adolescence, a journey which will not be smooth, in the heart of a neighborhood and a family from the 1980s.
