On Vinland shores Anja and Bjorn have just settled into a new life in Leifsbidur when a Beothuk warrior pursues revenge. The couple soon find themselves at the mercy of the helmsman, Karl Karlsefni, whose dealings with the Beothuks serve only to incense animosities and threaten Viking lives.
