Summary
A group of happy children live in the woods, without adult supervision. They eat fruits, play with animals, and learn to read from junk-food packaging left behind by careless adults. They never bathe. They have fun. Yvonne CarrÔe, the director of an orphanage, is obsessed with order and hygiene. SHe has only one obsession: wash these disgusting little ones in a machine she has invented, and lock them between the four walls of her deserted institution. Happily, Fanette Ducoup, the leader of the group, watches over the other kids.
