Summary
:
For the first time, Snorri accompanies his father Thorfinn Karlsefni aboard his knorrar. They are heading for Greenland. The boy meets his fellows there, including Dame Thjodild, the widow of Erik the Red. From there, they make their way to Vinland to cut wood. Snorri then discovers the land where he was born.
