Summary:
In an attempt to escape her gambling habit, a single mother takes her teenage daughter with her to stay with a childhood friend, in hopes that the quiet suburbs and her good influence can help her overcome some bad habits. After settling in however, differences in parenting styles between the women begin to surface, causing tention in an already strained situation.
