When the man known as Dakota first rode across the Kilmire range, he was only passing through Montana, heading of Washington State. But Kilmire brothers, didn't believe him. They thought he was spying on their illegal activities. so the head of the clan beat Dakota senseless and left him for dead. But they hadn't succeeded in killing Dakota.
