A traveling carnival catches Clint Adams' eye as he's passing through Benton's Fork. He immediately takes a liking to the decent carnival folk--except for a strange magician who has the town spooked. When a bank gets robbed, the locals immediately suspect the carnival "freaks". Now the Gunsmith finds himself caught between his new friends and a justice-hungry posse.
