Haven Moore and Iain Morrow leave Rome and head back to New York after Haven's friend Beau mysteriously disappears, and encounter the Horae, an underground group of women who agree to help Haven discover Beau's whereabouts in one of her past lives if she will in exchange infiltrate the Ouroboros Society and lure Adam Rossiter into a trap.
