Shrek: In a faraway land called Duloc, a heartless ruler, the midget Lord Farquaad has banished all the fairy tales from the land so it can be as boring as he is. But there are three characters who will stand is his way. The first is a green, smelly ogre with a heart of gold named Shrek, his faithful Donkey, who will do anything but shut up, and the beautiful, but tough Princess Fiona whom Lord Farquaad wishes to make his wife so he can become king of Duloc.

Shrek 2: Happily ever after never seemed so far away when a trip to meet the in-laws turns into another adventure for Shrek, an ogre, and Fiona. With the help of his faithful steed Donkey, Shrek takes on a potion-brewing Fairy Godmother, the pompous Prince Charming, and the famed ogre-killer, Puss in Boots.

Shrek the third: When Shrek married Fiona the last thing he had in mind was becoming the next King of Far Far Away. But when Shrek's father-in-law, King Harold, suddenly croaks, that is exactly what he faces. Recruiting Donkey and Puss in Boots for a new quest, Shrek sets out to bring back the rightful heir to the throne. Meanwhile, back in the kingdom, Fiona's jilted Prince Charming storms the city with an army of fairy tale villains to seize the throne. Fiona and a band of princesses must stop him to ensure there will be a kingdom left to rule.

Shrek forever after: When Shrek wishes he could feel like a real ogre again, he makes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin that sends him into an alternate reality.
