The friends Skar and Del are drawn ever deeper into Enwor's disputes. And they have to realize that even in a war between humans and the strange lizard creatures of the Quorrls, it is no easy matter to distinguish between good and evil. When the two Satai flee from the Quorrl through the desert, they discover a fairytale forest. But life in this oasis is not as peaceful and carefree as it seems. Because the forest dwellers long for their home, which they have left along with their forest. And in Skar they believe they have found the one who can bring them back.
