Franklin's not so broken bone: Skunk is getting a lot of attention because of the "really cool" cast on her arm. Franklin finds a way to share the same experience without having an accident first. He soon learns that wearing a cast may have its perks, but that there is a down side too.

Franklin's collection: Mr. Owl invites his students to bring a collection to school for show and tell. Franklin has trouble deciding what he wants to collect and with time running out, he becomes concerned that he'll be the only one in class without something interesting to share.

Franklin's garden: Franklin's fascination with a caterpillar turns to concern after he discovers it's been eating the petunias in his garden. A visit to Mr. Mole's garden gives Franklin a new outlook about the world he shares with other living things.
