Working in the sewers has prepared Jimmy Flannery for his new position as a Democratic committeeman, but it didn't teach him how to talk the talk with the pols in city hall. Seen through Jimmy's new city hall eyes, Chicago politics are changing but while many things certainly are different, Jimmy soon learns that one thing stays the same--people who get in the way still end up dead.
