CBC reporter Azzo Rezori talks to scientists involved in fisheries research about how they need to cooperate to better understand the ocean ecosystem. Scientists at MUN, Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans, and the Marine Sciences lab each have expertise they need to share in order to discover some solutions to the problems plauging our fisheries. The cooling trend in the ocean is bring about a rebirth in fishery sciences. The problems of the migration of the spawinging biomass and its effect on codstocks are explained.
