Summary:

Black bear - to some, the black bear is simply a nuisance, tearing up wood camps, and frightening travellers. To other's, it's a harmless scavenger, growling about garbage dumps. But what of the black bear's role as a predator? We share with Shane Mahoney, provincial wildlife biologist, the information he gathered on the black bear in Newfoundland.
