Dusty Deking and his hunchback companion, "Hunch" Huckle are stopped by the town of Jawbone's deputy and his riders, forbidding them to enter their town. Why would the law in Jawbone bear down on two hapless riders? One of them was the son of the notorious gunslinger Matt Dekin, and right or wrong, there were plenty of places where Dusty wasn't welcome. There wasn't much a man could do to rid himself of a reputation that was his birthright--until he proved his mettle by thwarting the most daring robbery in the West.
