Saddle tramp Brogan McNally comes across a group of men led by Three Fingers Riley. Managing to fall foul of the gang, Brogan shoots off two fingers on Riley's other hand, leaving him four fingers down - and jobless. Brogan continues on his travels, and encounters a group of Mexicans about to meet an appalling fate at the hands of Chang. Striking up an uneasy alliance with Three Fingers Riley, Brogan vows to free the desperate Mexicans from their miserable entrapment, but what are Riley's real motives?
