Summary:
This report describes textural characteristics of sediments and the distribution of major foraminifera in piston cores from two basins and adjacent areas on the Labrador Shelf. Against the background of existing oceanographic and sedimentary setting, the sedimentological-micropaleontological information is used to describe possible late-glacial to recent changes in the marine environment.
