Apprentice to the Flower Poet Z. tells the story of Annabelle Goldsmith, a college sophomore who has been hired to work for a celebrity professor renowned for her flower poems. Obsessed with the question, "What is poetry,” Annabelle thinks her new job with the Flower Poet Z. will help her find the answer. What she learns instead is something altogether different.
