Broken Head, Alberta, has one famous resident - reclusive Darwin Andrew Goodwin, renowned for stalking voluptuous actress Stephanie Rush. Goodwin is also obsessed with Joan Swift, a local librarian who strongly resembles Stephanie. Joan agrees to impersonate Stephanie to help her lover, writer Jason Warwick, to get Goodwin to tell his side of the story.
