Something strange has been going on in Betsy's neighbourhood -- ever since the people moved into the haunted house next door. Her beagle, Irving, now looks like a plastic lawn ornament, the plants on her block are growing into a tropical rain forest and her brother insists on wearing a gorilla suit every day.
