Summary:
Harbour Grace - once a rival of St. John's as a centre of commerce and education in Newfoundland, this historic town has known personalities as diverse as Pirate King Peter Easton and the aviatrix, Amelia Earhart, who used the place to commence her Atlantic flight.

Trepassey - in 1919, a U.S. Navy seaplane left this southern community's harbour, one "month" ahead of Alcock and Brown's departure, NC-4 was the first successful across the Atlantic. We talk with 91 year-old Walter Hinton of Pompano Beach, the aircraft's pilot.
