Two works by Innu writer and activist An Antane Kapesh about the rapid disappearance of the culture, experiences and knowledge of her people. In the first, she denounces the conditions in which she and the Innu were made to live, and addresses the changes due to land dispossession, police brutality and the residential school system. The second is a fictional account by a young boy about the arrival of white settlers.
