The Quiche of death -- In order to introduce herself to the picturesque English village where she has just retired, Mrs. Agatha Raisin enters a quiche in a local competition and promptly finds herself a murder suspect when the judge dies from her poisonous pie.

The Vicious vet. -- Agatha Raisin believes the new village vet has taken a shine to her, but before romance can bloom, he accidently kills himself. Oh well, there is still her distinguished military neighbour, and perhaps a common interest like a murder investigation will bring them closer together.
